# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The natural sweetness from watermelon means you need way less added sugar than traditional lemonade
  • It comes together in under 15 minutes but tastes like something you would order at a fancy café
02 -
  • Sieving the watermelon puree makes a huge difference in texture, but I honestly skip it sometimes when I am in a hurry.
  • Frozen watermelon cubes work brilliantly as ice cubes that chill your drink without watering it down.
03 -
  • Add a pinch of salt to the finished drink. It sounds strange but it makes all the flavors pop and intensifies the watermelon taste.
  • If your watermelon is not sweet enough, blend in a few strawberries before straining for a natural sugar boost.
